Before streaming, before CDs, before cassettes- there was vinyl. At this time, you might pick up that new record from your favorite band before your friend had it. You might call them to come listen. You would sit down, maybe pour a drink, and listen. All the while maybe making some small talk and catching up, and maybe pointing out some favorite parts in the record as you were listening. It was an event. An intentional time set aside.

In a world of streaming, I feel like we may have lost some of that. That togetherness that the vinyl format imposes on us.

With the release of my new record, California Sunrise, I am seeking to bring that intentionality and community back to the music listening experience. On February 21st, 2026, I am inviting you to come, fellowship, have coffee, have dessert and listen. I want this record to become a soundtrack to your life. Something that is playing in the background while you experience life.
